GAS TREATMENT 

 

The natural gas extracted from the underground requires specific treatments before its transfer. These drying and sweetening operations aim to remove water, CO2, and sulfur through a molecular sieve, an activated alumina bed, or by using microporous membranes.

 

CHAUMECA TECHNOLOGY equipment is designed based on specific and particular specifications tailored to the composition of the gas to be treated.

OIL REFINING 

 

CHAUMECA TECHNOLOGY equipment is used for various applications in refineries, including processes such as CCR (Continuous Catalyst Reforming), for which CHAUMECA TECHNOLOGY designs and installs RLDs (Regeneration Loop Dryers) to dry and purify a nitrogen stream necessary for regenerating catalysts involved in these aromatization and octane enhancement processes. Our RLDs can reduce the water content in nitrogen to 50 ppmv. Operating pressures typically range from 4 to 12 barg, and flow rates can reach up to 70,000 Nm3/h.

We also offer hydrogen recovery and purification systems, designed using adsorbent-based technology or by using microporous membranes. The recovered hydrogen can be recycled for various applications, thereby avoiding flaring.

METHANERS

 

CHAUMECA TECHNOLOGY is involved in the flash gas reliquefaction loop. We provide skids for these applications, integrating both compression and nitrogen treatment. These skids meet maritime standards (ABS – LLOYD’S – DNV, etc.). The goal is to extract CO2 and water in compressed form. Operating pressures typically range from 4 to 40 barg, with flow rates around 75 Nm3/h. The objective is to achieve water content below 0.4 ppmv and CO2 content below 0.5 ppmv.

DRYING AND INERTING OF GAS PIPELINES 

 

The pipelines used for gas transportation undergo hydraulic testing. Following this operation, the pipelines must be dried to prevent hydrate formation and meet the requirements for moisture absence.
